I have been drawing since I was able to hold a texta, first starting with oil and acrylic at the age of eight. In my teens, my art took a fantasy slant, and I started to favour fine–liners and watercolour pencils. I pretty much stopped drawing and painting for the entirety of my twenties, as I had been convinced that art was not worth pursuing, but recently, I have re-embraced my old style. I mix mediums a bit, and am moving from my watercolour pencil comfort zone back into acrylic. I vary between depicting abstract ideas in a literal way, or making visual puns. My pictures often feature insects, plants, and for some reason, ducks.
