In Late 2012 an idea was hatched between friends, Ash Rothschild (Caligula/Graveyard Rockstars/School of Rock), Ant Banister (DEF FX, Lunar Module Clan Analogue) and Rob Finder (Vaein). While working in very different musical styles, they all had a love for dark Post-Punk and Alternative music. They decided to bring together a loose group of musicians under the name Sounds Like Winter to write and record songs that captured the sound and feel of Winter, and blending cutting edge electronic music with dark alternative.
