AP D'Antonio & the Captain Kidd Band

SEMAPHORE WORKERS CLUB

Hailed as Australia’s very own cross between Charlie Chaplin and Bob Dylan, AP brings his passion for country blues and traditional folk music and the promise of an old-time good-time to audiences throughout Australia, and abroad. You cannot help but be drawn in to his captivating performance which blends brilliant musicianship and traditional music played with such warmth, humour and creativity that it will make any event a memorable one. Before forming genre denying “CAPTAIN KIDD” AP has been seen regularly playing in and around Adelaide in many a nook and cranny for more than 20 years. He has also performed at many festivals, intimate shows and house concerts around Australia. He honed his craft on the streets of Adelaide and willingly took every opportunity possible to nurture his natural talent. In 2018, AP was invited to audition for The Voice Australia. The little underground folk singer from Adelaide made his mark so emphatically that he performed in the Live Finals to a viewing audience of over a 3 million Australians.
