Dancing Monsters are an informal community of people exploring transformative creative practices that connect with place, the wild and the imaginal. These include practices that are common to community and seasonal festivals everywhere, but have sometimes become drained of meaning through the effects of commercialisation or appropriation. Parading, music and masking are central practices.

Connecting and listening to the places around us is important for our wellbeing, and the wellbeing of the earth and it's inhabitants. By using our imagination to invite places and the other-than-human into our communities, we can re-enchant our relationships with each other, the earth and have so much fun in the process!
