Charles Jenkins

Charles Jenkins is an Adelaide raised Melbourne based songwriter/musician, producer, performer and teacher with over 30 years of experience in the Australian Music Industry.

He has released 24 albums, toured Europe and the USA several times and been nominated for two ARIA awards with the Icecream Hands. In 2014 won the AGE/Music Victoria award for best folk/roots album. He has a Masters In Music (UTAS) and is an Ambassador for APRA/AMCOS.

He works with small groups and large, from one-on-one workshops to lecture halls with audiences numbering in the hundreds. He is currently teaching songwriting at Box Hill Institute as well as having private students and providing songwriting mentoring for the Port Fairy Folk Festival Youth Program.
