David Blight with Mick Kidd

Lovers of “Harpin’ Slidin’ Stompin’ Acoustic Blues” will have no trouble seeing why Mick Kidd together with David Blight were named most “Outstanding Solo/Duo” at the 2014 South Australian Blues & Roots Awards with Mick picking up “Outstanding Male Performer” to boot. Together Mick and Dave produce authentic blues with a dynamic sound that almost belies the fact that there are only the two of them on the stage, such is the power of their delivery. Winning the inaugural Adelaide Blues & Roots Association- “Memphis Blues Challenge” (solo/duo category) saw Mick & David represent South Australia on the world stage in January 2016, reaching the quarter-finals after performing 2 nights at the iconic  Jerry Lee Lewis “12 Bar” nightclub on Beale Street.
