Semaphore Music Festival
Labour Day Long Weekend
2-5 October, 2009
PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 2 October, 2009
APRA Songwriters’ Panel - Monday, 5 October at 12 noon – Change of Venue – Now at the RSL 10 Semaphore Road, Semaphore with The Music Makers of SA Exhibition and Luthiers Panel.
Join Cal Williams Junior who has just written a book titled ‘The Singer Songwriters Toolbox’ together on a panel with the dry wit of legendary Don Morrison and pathos of Troy Loakes, the sweetness of Dee Trewartha – it’s a mini festival in the making of one lazy sun soaked Labour Day. Kate Vigo will be there with her guitarist before she takes off back to Melbourne. The panel is convened by Gary Burrows, Licensing Manager of APRA.
This is a first at the Semaphore Music Festival, supported by APRA. We are anticipating that members and songwriters will come along and join in the fun. APRA staff will be there to answer musicians’ questions and you can join-up to make sure you get your well deserved royalties.
